Coronavirus: Your Ultimate Lock-Down Shopping List

It seems like recently, all anybody’s been talking about is the Coronavirus pandemic. After Italy announced its lock-down, everybody seems to be going off the rails, stocking up on items in fear that they too might end up housebound. Although Scott Morrison announced to Australia this week that he will not be enforcing an Australia-wide lock-down, there still seems to be some uncertainty. It was, after all, only a few days ago that the Australian government announced to the world it wouldn’t be closing state borders… only to shut the Tasmanian borders only days later.

So, with all this confusion, it only makes sense that Australians go out and buy extra groceries just in case, right? Well, you’d think so, but it seems that the general Australian population just didn’t seem to understand the meaning of ‘buy a bit extra of what you need’. Shoppers around the globe have found themselves completely unable to purchase their basic groceries as the toilet paper, rice, milk, pasta and so many more aisles have been stripped bare by frenzied ‘panic-buyers’ who’ve been stocking up far more items than they need. It’s only a matter of time before they begin to realize that milk alone is a fairly unappetizing meal….

So, what exactly should we be buying? In this article, you’ll find the ultimate shoppers list of what really to be purchased to prepare for a lock-down.
